From 2011 Draft to 2026: Bringing My Flying Blue Sheep Design to Life
While digging through my Blogger drafts, I stumbled upon an unfinished post dated December 9, 2011. Looking at this vintage phone case design on my screen, memories from 15 years ago came rushing back. Back then, I loved drawing simple, whimsical scenes full of innocent joy. This piece features a flock of blue sheep working together to fly among the clouds, while a silly little fox looks up from the ground in wonder. This draft didn't even have a title. Originally, I intended to write a quick post to log this new product release on Society6 (judging by the design dimensions, it was tailored for the iPhone 4—talk about a blast from the past!). Instead, it ended up sitting in the draft box for 15 years. Today in 2026, I’ve decided to finally bring it to light.
